Description
The genus Magnolia is one of about 125 species of deciduous and permanent green wood and shrubs found in the forests, underbrush and on the banks of the river from the Himalayas to the East and South-East Asia and from eastern North America to tropical regions of the Americas. Today is grown in all parts of the world because of its beautiful single, fragrant, usually vertical, sometimes horizontal or hanging flowers. The shape of the flowers varies from such as cups, such as bowls, goblet to the star-shaped. The flowers often flourish before the appearance of leaves, and can be completely white, pink or purple streaked, pink, purple, cream-yellow, yellow-green, greenish, light to medium yellow. Cone-like fruits often have a red wrapper around the seeds and very attractive look in the fall.
