Description
Poppies (Papaveraceae), in the broadest sense of the word, a plant family from the class of dicotyledons, to which belongs about 40 genera with more than 800 species of herbaceous plants from temperate and warm areas, predominantly the northern hemisphere. Their bisexual flowers have a calyx mostly of two paws, four petals of a corolla, four, six or many anthers and an overgrown pistil from which the fruit of a multi-seeded quiver or a single-seeded shoot is formed.
Most of them are found in the grain, which gives us a wonderful sight, and can also be found along the railroad track, as if they were defying gray stone and metal. Do not bother them, they will soon lose their beauty and disappear.
