Description
Pigeons (lat. Columbidae) are a family of birds of the donkey (Columbiformes). They are spread all over the world.
They feed on vegetable food - types of moderate areas with predominantly different seeds, and tropical varieties and fruits. Domestic pigeons originate from a pigeon cave, a wild species that still lives today under caves and pits under the ground. The bakeries are predominantly located in the Mediterranean (living in Dalmatia), North Africa and India. In Europe, besides the cave, there are other species of wild pigeons: pigeons, pigeons, wild boar and pike.
Pigeons are believed to have been domesticated more than 3000 years before the New Era. Most likely the Egyptians and the Sumerians talked to them. These peoples worshiped the pigeons as the sacred bird and messengers of the gods.
