Description
Kravica waterfall in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is located 10 km from Medjugorje, in Studenci near Ljubuski. It is located on the river Trebizat and has a width of 120 meters and a height of about 28 meters. Once the fall were active many mills and stood for rolling cloth. In addition to Kravica on Trebizat there is a waterfall Kocusa.
It is one of the most interesting natural places to see in the region and is also situated about 40 km from Mostar. Water River Trebizat at that point separates and falls from a height of 30 meters creating a natural amphitheater width of 150 meters, creating natural that the show is reminiscent, of course to a much lesser extent, to Niagara Falls. In the summer it usually frequented by lovers of rafting and locals and is ideal for relaxation and fun in a natural unspoilt environment with the constant sound of the waterfall in the background. Near the waterfall there is a small cave where you can see stalactites of calcium carbonate, an old mill and boat. Trebizat river allows pleasant trips and canoeing, organized by local experienced operators, with a length of 10 km (including guide, canoe and equipment). Such a thing should not be missed, as will the frenetic rhythm of daily life in this environment seem only a distant memory.
