Description
Hyacinth (lat. Hyacinthus) is a plant with underground stem in the form of tapered bulbs scaly gray-bluish color. Has its origin in the Balkan Peninsula and Asia Minor. Tree hyacinth is right, meaty, high 20 to 30 cm. The leaves are linear, at the top of narrow, dark green. The leaves emerge directly from bulbs and form a rosette immediately above the ground. The flowers are small in the short handles, collected in dense clusters bloom at the top of the flower stem, intense aroma and are of various colors: white, purple, pink, blue, red. It blooms in April and May, when the plant is grown in the garden. If grown as a house plant, blooms in the winter months.
