Description
Honey is a genus of flowering plants in the family Violaceae, with 478 recognized species spread around the world. Most of the species found in the northern hemisphere, but there are also examples of the viola (violet, pansy) found in very remote areas, such as Hawaii, Australia, Asia and the Andes in South America.
Most species of violets are perennial plants, some are annual and a few small bushes. Some species are grown for their ornamental flowers in the corners and rocky gardens, pansies are especially intensively grown in pots in the spring and fall / winter in pots. Viola and violetta are terms used by gardeners and generally in horticulture for neat hybrid plant small flowers of medium size between violets and pansies.
