Crows (lat. Corvus corone) are a type of intelligent and noisy birds from among passerine, the family of crows. In Eurasia is represented with 6 subspecies, two of which, black crow and hooded crow, living in Europe.
Two subspecies living in Europe differ only color feathers. The subspecies that inhabits mainly northeast Europe has black feathers with bluish reflection of (Black Crow), while the subspecies from the southwest has a gray body with black wings, black tail feathers and black head. There may be hybrid forms of these two subspecies that are capable of reproduction, and the feathers they can have the color of both parents.
The bill is in both subspecies thick, the upper part of the front bent down. Feathers tail is straight, and legs also black.
