The parish church of Our Lady of the Snows in Vid, popularly known as Our Lady Ice, was built on top of a hill on the site of the acropolis of the former town of Narona. The present church is the third built on the site. The first church of Saint Mary, and pulled down by the Turks. Liberation from the Turks in the late 17th century, in its place was built a small church. As the number of inhabitants, in 1901 it was decided to demolish it, and in its place build the present church. The single nave is this building with a semicircular apse, the length of 26 m and a width of 12 meters and was built by the design of the Danish architect and archaeologist Einar Dyggve. Until the Second World War were raised only walls, but only about 1955 begin intensive construction, which runs until 1965. Split-Makarska, Frane Franic, Bishop pays on 1 May 1965. After eight years of the church's bell tower built 27 meters in height, according to the draft engineers Đena Hamzic. The church was a painting of Our Lady of unknown painter of Venetian Baroque period from the late 17th or early 18th century. Was transferred from St. Vida, currently located in the parish house.
