Description
Dandelion (Taraxacum) genus aster family (Asteraceae, earlier known as Compositae). Usually located in regions with temperate and cold climates. Occurs in meadows, parks, gardens, pathways and hedges. It grows in the high mountains, but there is a much smaller rosettes. The appearance of the plants is greatly changed depending on the habitat.
The best known and most common species of Taraxacum officinale, is a herbaceous perennial plant with serrated leaves on the ground rose from which rises a hollow stem with one yellow flower heads on top. The root of the spindle and the upper part has grown. It blooms from April to October. After flowering occurs seed, ranked as air ball, with a lot of seeds that are spread by the wind.
