He loves the city suitable for sunbathing, as well as branches in the water. Often you can see more turtles together sunbathing on the rocks and stumps, and sometimes one another. Females are usually larger and heavier than the males. In nature, grows up to 30 cm, while in the tank female reaches a length of up to 20 cm. While small, the turtle is almost impossible to distinguish by gender. Later, when you grow up, the males are smaller, have longer and thinner tail and very long claws. The dorsal side of the armor and in males and females greenish color with black spots. How old so their armor and becomes darker in color.
These two turtles living in my garden and had their pool. Since I moved, I let them in nature, in freedom.

Beautiful image, Jasna, and nice contrast in color! The turtles look like they just felt a rain drop, or maybe heard the voice of God! (I have a vivid imagination!)
