Description
Primrose (cushioned primrose, common primrose; Lat. Primula vulgaris and P. acaulis (L.) Hill) is a plant species of the genus Primula. Is widespread in Western and Southern Europe (from the Faroe Islands and Norway in the north to the south of Portugal, and Germany, Ukraine, the Crimean peninsula, the Balkan Peninsula in the east), as well as in northwest Africa (Algeria) and Southwest Asia (from Turkey to Iran in the east). It blooms in early spring and is one of the earliest plants that flourish in Europe. English name for Primrose, Primrose, comes from the Old French primerose or medieval Latin prima rosa, meaning first rose [6]. In certain circumstances, primrose flowers can completely obstruct the paint glades and meadows next to forests.
This is my first year's snapshot of primrose and I am very happy about it because I know that spring is close.
