Tekoma (Campsis radicans Seem.)
Deciduous vine that climbs by means of aerial roots, large flowers such as trumpet, orange or red. They grow quickly and can reach up to 10 meters in height. The leaves are opposite, odd plumose, composed of 7-11 oval Lisak. Roughly the jagged edges, a forced top, dark green, for reverse brighter.
Likes fertile and deep soil to a secure, sunny position. Young plants are sensitive to frost and drought. Campsis radicans is commonly planted because of the abundance of greenery and flowering from July to August.
Originally from the southeastern part of North America. In our country it is grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks, as well as stand-alone copy or to decorate walls and other free spaces. It is good as a honey plant, bees gives nectar, pollen and propolis.
