Square Petra Preradovica in Zagreb, named after at Renaissance giant Peter Preradovic. Among the people from Zagreb generally known as the Flower Market, the kiosks with flowers that are traditionally located here.
The market is located in the city center, about 200 meters from the main square. Today it is a pedestrian zone. There are benches, a few trees, cafes with terraces. It is a favorite meeting place, a part of the city's "rush hour". It is particularly known for various gatherings and stands posed by various associations, religious organizations and makes, for distributing leaflets and other forms of publicity, smaller gatherings and actions and so on. Congregational Church of Transfiguration in Zagreb's Cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) in the center of Zagreb at Trg Petra Preradovića.
The Cathedral is a church (cathedral) Diocese of Zagreb-Ljubljana. It was built in 1866 after a design by Croatian architect Francis Klein. Restored the 1883 to 1884 The designs by architect Herman Bolle. Then in her set the current historicist iconostasis with icons that worked painter Epaminondas Bucevska. Bolle will be on two other occasions restored Church of the Transfiguration - 1899, when it set a new cap towers and 1913th to 1914th when it is completely modified front.
